Sometimes Rules Have To Be Broken

On Sunday I was in a lovely town called Criccieth and they have a castle up on a hill.

The evening light was just starting to glow orange and I turned and looked up at the castle and realised that up on the castle walls would be the best place for a great sunset shot.

Problem was, the castle and visitor centre was now closed. They had shut up shop a few hours earlier.

A friend of mine told me there was a way in.

We both snuck around the place until we found a little wall where we could easily climb over and walk up to the castle.

I'm not always one for disobeying the rules but I knew that there was a great shot to be had so we both quickly and carefully climbed over and ran up to the top of the hill where the castle was.

What I then saw was worth the little rule breaking.

High up above the town with the light turning orange and then red was a wonderful sunset waiting to be captured and as I setup my camera I thought about my little rule breaking and thought if I hadn't climbed the wall then I wouldn't have been able to take this photo and you reading this wouldn't have been able to see another beautiful sunset painted by Mother Nature.

Sometimes you have to break the rules in order to share the love.
