What do I stand for?

I’m currently 1 of the U.K's most active Motivational, inspirational Speakers & Mental Health campaigners.

Some of our biggest frustrations in life can come from our work environment.

It might be work that is unfulfilling, co-workers that we have difficulty getting along with, or demanding organizational structures that seem to strip us of our time and suffocate our passion and creativity.

We so often refer to this complex and stressful situation with a blanket term like "career burnout."

In many instances we may feel that our options for true fulfillment at work arelimited and our agreements generally take us into the following three patterns of coping with the dissatisfaction and frustrations:

Attempting to change the work environment could be a major struggle and likely been a dead-end endeavor.

But I'll help you focus on changing your personal environment, dissolving your own beliefs and shifting your emotional state.

That internal change will allow you to create the kind of professional environment that is rewarding and balanced.

You will identify the greatest factor determining your happiness - yourself.

Everyone’s work situation is different, but many of the frustrations are common to all of us.

For some people, dissolving their fears, judgments, and false interpretations in their mind will make all the difference in their lives.

With over 25 years of experience in the corporate world from sales associate to manger, I want to help you realise your full potential and overcome some of those internal.

Mind challenges keep you held back

When it comes to confidence most people will tell you that they are confident, however...

  • What happens when your aren't?
  • Are you feeling any of the following?
  • Un-motivated?
  • Lacking self esteem?
  • Lacking confidence?
  • What are your life’s current challenges, which you could really do with sharing?
  • Do you feel frustrated, because nobody seems to listen to, or understand you?
  • How happy are you in life right now?

I was living in a tent suffering with Anxiety, Stress & Depression before I took charge of my life.

My passion, purpose and what stand for is to help others who don’t have a voice to be heard.

My mission in life is to empower people to realise their full potential by having the confidence to be seen for their unique strengths, abilities and talents.

2.What do you know to be true that many others disagree on?

If you change your perception you can change your world, change the way you look at things & you’ll see things you’ve never seen before.

From my own perspective there is a distinct lack of education surrounding how people act & react in large corporations.

I've worked for some of the worlds largest organisations and I can tell you first hand that they haven't a clue about training or what do do with somebody with Mental Health issues.

My last role I was asked to give a 10 minute presentation about any subject I liked, so I delivered a talk on my journey from Cocaine addict to Inspirational Speaker.

3. Why is Emotional Intelligence important for leadership & influenecers?

From this point onwards my card was marked. The importance of emotional intelligence is knowing how and when to support somebody, wether it be through empathy to sympathy.

If you do not understand emotions how can you understand how best to approach, support, lift, encourage, motivate, help a person?

Academically you may have every qualification under the sun but if you haven't lived it I'm not sure you fully understand it.

My Personal Mindset Strategy

GOAL SETTING & PLANNING

For me it is imperative that I plan, why? because it is important to see what I've achieved and have yet to achieve.

If you aren't working on your goals, your working on somebody else's.

My top tips for goal setting.

  1. Start your day with a to-do list -  That includes all of your regular chores and extras that you want to accomplish for the day.
  2. Number them in order of importance - Imagine which ones will make you feel like you had a successful day overall if you complete them.
  3. Determine how long it will take you to complete each task - Remember, human beings are notorious for overestimating what they can get done in a month and underestimating what they can get done in an hour.Start paying attention to how much you can accomplish in shorter blocks of time and you’ll be surprised by how productive you can actually be in a single day.
  4. Set a timer for yourself and put away all other distractions - Sit down and commit to working on the task you have assigned yourself until the timer goes off.

Don’t think about the drudgery of having to meet a deadline, think about how great it is that you have the opportunity to work on this particular project.

There is beauty in everything.

I've achieve some staggeringly breathtaking achievements that have needed planning, if it wasn't for the planning I'm almost certain I wouldn't have been able to complete the task.

It's good to have goals, it gives you purpose and an opportunity to grow.

I witness so many people multi tasking or taking on projects that are far to big for them, resulting in being over worked.

Many people suffer with not being able to say no, especially entrepreneurs and those who are self employed.

Slow down, think long term and set realistic goals.
