What do you stand for?

Making employment human, Keeping talent in the UK , Pursuing happiness, learning, growing and wowing

Encouraging transparency & a big one for me is removing barriers

What do you know to be true that many others disagree on?

Everyone is good at something, sometimes they just need help from others to find out what that something is.

Some people don’t find their gift or it’s suppressed because of their environment, their upbringing, their social group.

However I know it’s true that everyone is good at something, even when they’ve been told hundreds of times they’re useless and they believe that they are useless.

What does making employment human mean?

Companies allowing the outside world to see what goes on internally.

It means allowing people to see what it’s like to work there, have open days or hold Facebook live sessions.

It means not just putting a job vacancy on a job board & praying, instead get talking to people, engage & open up discussions, building an engaging community, giving a voice to it’s employees, encouraging them to become ambassadors.

Breaking down barriers!

It means treating employees and candidates with respect... treating a candidate just as good as you would treat a customer. Learning how to attract great employees by being a great employer.

Julie's Personal Mindset Strategy

My mindset strategy is to be aware of your thoughts and take ownership of them.

Everyone has a down day but when you’re in control of your thoughts you’ll bounce back up instead of spiraling down.

Being in business is like being on a roller coaster, you have highs and you have lows, when you have a low it’s natural to feel pissed off but you can’t stay in that state for too long.

If it’s anger you feel then feel it but then use that energy to bounce back up to hope again.

Train your mind to think growth and abundance, after a while you’ll find that when a negative thought enters your head you’ll start to add a positive spin to it; for example when it rains, I always moan but then add on the end of my moan, the ducks will have fun today!

The more positive thoughts you have the more positive you’ll be and positive things will start happening in your life.?

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.”
