Love What You Do

You hear that when you love what you do it’s not work...

So why do so many ‘end up’ doing something they don’t like/want/care/inspired to do?

One reason ... You settle!

No one wants to settle, but at some point you made a decision where you said...

‘One Day I will do what I want but for now this will be fine’

Then you look at the calendar and you see there is no ‘one day’.

You still wait... it’s not one day now because at the moment...

  • You have bills to pay
  • You are not ready
  • You need more time
  • The time is not right
  • You need more information
  • You are not good enough yet
  • You have too many commitments
  • You are too busy

All very legitimate ordinary reasons (excuses) to live an ordinary life...

We settle for ordinary, because aiming for an extraordinary life could be too painful, too hard, too much like hard work, too too too whatever...

A little well know secret is this...

  • You will always have bills to pay
  • You will never be ready
  • Time will always move away from you
  • It will never be the right time
  • You know enough
  • You are good enough
  • You will always have too many commitments
  • Busy is a state of mind

So now you know that there is no secret to do what you love, what is in the way?

More specifically your fears...

  • Fear of failing
  • Fear of succeeding
  • Fear of looking bad
  • Fear of not doing it right
  • Fear of not looking professional
  • Fear of not being perfect
  • Fear of making a mistake

In 20 years of working with people, entrepreneurs, business owners these fears of not moving forward repeat themselves all the time

If you have these fears, believe that you are not alone, EVERYONE has these fears, no matter what you see.

The difference between them and you is Courageous Action

How do you take courageous action?

  • Talk to someone who has done what you want to do
  • Take one small action each day
  • Get real with what is and what isn’t

The ultimate courageous action could be making a comment here about what it is you really want help with... that one action could make others step up...
